Laurel Ridge Skating Club Laurel Ridge provides an environment for your skater to reach their highest skating ability. Once the skater has progressed beyond group lessons, Laurel Ridge offers coaches for private instruction for the skater in Freestyle and Moves in the Field. The skater may choose to test in these areas with our club USFSA sanctioned test sessions at both the Danbury and Shelton locations. Skaters are invited to present their skills in front of a panel of judges for evaluation and movement to higher competitive classifications. As a member, they will have an opportunity to meet fellow figure skaters and partake in our annual skating show. Laurel Ridge skaters are also invited to participate in the Toys for Tots show located at the Danbury Ice Arena during the holiday season. Skaters seeking group lessons must contact the Danbury Ice Rink and Rinks at Shelton for availability. This program is run separately from Laurel Ridge Skating Club. The Laurel Ridge Skating Club is governed by a Board of Directors, in accordance with USFSA rules and regulations. Membership in Laurel Ridge Skating Club entitles you to:
